I meet the best families and this is one of them. I photographed mom when she was pregnant with this sweet boy and have seem them several times for sessions through his first year of life. I was able to photograph his first birthday and we got some quick family portrait shots also. It has been so amazing seeing and documenting them through his first year. I love when clients begin to feel like close friends
Here are a few from our session. I will be seeing them this weekend too- Can’t wait!

I was able to photograph this adorable couple on a beautiful afternoon as the sun was setting behind us. The light was just beautiful that evening. I wanted to share a few of my favorite images from the day.
A few side notes… I have a few more spots open for spring mini sessions so if you are interested let me know! I am booking for births into September now and I only take two a month so if you are expecting and want me to document your birth contact me asap

This is an old high school friend who was one of my very first clients. I just love catching up with her and photographing her beautiful growing family. We had a chilly but sunny morning for our session- which shows how far behind I am in blogging! I just love the images we captured that day. Here are a few of my favorites.

It’s spring mini session time! These fill up my calendar quickly so if you are interested contact me to book!

This was a short but fun session with these adorable brothers and their cousin. We were in a race to get some good photos before it rained and I was so happy we really did. Here are a few favorites of mine from their session…

‘Photography is not like painting. There is a creative fraction of a second when you are taking a picture. Your eye must see a composition or an expression that life itself offers you, and you must know with intuition when to click the camera.’
- Henri Cartier-Bresson

I just got back for an amazing trip to New York City which is one of my very favorite places to go. I have tons and tons of pictures to edit. I’ll do a blog post to share a few. I could not have asked for a better weekend away.
I am so very far behind on blogging all these sweet families I am lucky enough to photograph. I am going to get caught up! So let’s get started…
Here is a sweet baby girl who turned this family into a family of 4. We had such a great session together. I enjoyed my time with them so much. I truly have the best clients and meet so many wonderful families. I am so thankful. Here are a few of my favorite images.

When I was a new mom of two kiddos under 2 a mom approached me at the park one day. I must have looked tired and overwhelmed because she leaned over and said, ‘When they are 4 and 6 it will get easier’. I have remembered those words through every stage I have been through. That first year was a blur to me. Of course through every age and stage the demands have shifted but I feel what she was describing as we near 4 and 6.
As I type this I miss those babies and those younger days… as I guess as mothers we always do and will. Always bittersweet.
Ahhh.. Almost 4 and 6

I will be posting the details for my spring mini sessions in the next week. These are short (30-ish minute) sessions and fun way to get some portraits done. They are some of my favorite sessions.
I am also filling up for my birth photography through the summer. I only take two births a month so if you are interested e-mail me at info@emillerphoto.com. If you know any pregnant mama’s send them my way.
I was able to photograph this cutie a few weeks back in Mount Dora. I had never done a session there and I just loved the location. We had a fun morning together and wanted to share a few of my favorite images
I am booking into March now for sessions and will be putting together some information for spring mini sessions. I’ll post it on my blog later this month. I am also still building my birth photography portfolio so please send any pregnant mamas my way if they are interested in having their birth documented.
Ok, enough words… on to this cutie!

I was excited to book a different session than I am used to a few weeks back. A local musician contacted me to photograph a studio session of his when he was recording a duet. His name is Tavie Basarich and you need to go check out his music. He has an amazing voice. He is also a really great guy.
I really enjoyed my afternoon in the studio. I am looking forward to photographing him more in the near future. You will be seeing him again on my blog very soon!
Enough of my words. Here are some of the images from our session.
