I was very lucky to book this sweet couple to document the birth of their first child. It was a scheduled c-section and the ob-gyn just happened to be my ob-gyn! He let me get scrubbed in and I was allowed back there for the entire delivery! It was so amazing. I’ll let the photos tell this story.

The second I met this family we just clicked. I was so happy to be there with them as they welcomed their new baby boy into the world. I just love the family shots we got the next day at the hospital too. I’ll let my pictures do the talking…

Here is a recent newborn session with one of my favorite families and their new baby girl. I always enjoy our sessions together- they are the sweetest family. Here are a few of my favorite images from our morning.

I am getting a few things ready for my newborn session tomorrow which reminded me I never blog this little guys session. I loved so many images from our time together I am excited to share some.

I get asked a lot if I photograph newborns- the answer is YES! I would call myself a lifestyle newborn photographer. I like to capture you and your new baby in your home as a family. Maybe these pictures will help better describe my style!

Ahhh… I just loved this session. We moved it a little earlier in the day to avoid the predicted rain and we had some beautiful sun. I can’t wait to meet this little girl this weekend and photograph this family again. Enjoy!

I’m on a roll here blogging! I was so excited to share my fall sessions and had to wait and now I can!

This session was on my busiest weekend of the year and this family couldn’t have been more fun to photograph. Mom put together some adorable outfits for everyone. I enjoyed my time with them.

I just loved meeting this sweet family and photographing them. We got so many great shots I could really blog them all. I did go through and pick a few of my favorites.

A few notes- I am booking portrait sessions for the new year into mid February now. I am booked for births until April so if you have an April baby due and want me to document the birth let me know! I have been asked a lot recently if I only do home births….Nope! I also love to photograph hospital births.
