Sigh… the poor neglected blog! I am here- keeping busy with lots of great sessions! I will be announcing details for Spring mini sessions soon so stay tuned. These are a quick and great way to get some portraits done of your family.
I just loved this session. I will be doing 1 year portraits of this cutie with her family soon so I wanted to make sure to blog this session first. Enjoy!
I am the worst blogger ever. I never get over here to blog! I’m not going to make any promises I won’t keep about blogging.
It’s busy season! I love this time of year. I get to see so many families through the years and meet so many great new families. I am pretty much booked until early December. I can maybe squeeze a couple more sessions in or if you are interested in a lifestyle newborn photography session let me know. The best way to reach me is- photoerinmiller@gmailcom.
On to some photos. This family was so great to photograph in their home. Their sweet little guy had just turned 1. I enjoyed our session.
I can’t believe summer is almost over and the the kids are heading back to school. We had an exciting and fun summer which included a move to a new house we love. I can’t believe it is time to start to think about holiday photo sessions. I will be posting details at the end of this month for my fall holiday sessions. My calendar gets very booked so let me know ASAP if you would like a spot!
I have a few photos to share from a recent session. I get to photograph this family at least twice a year. I have seen their girls grow up in front of my camera. Mom happens to be a friend of mine from high school so it is so great my photography got us back in touch! I enjoy every session so much with them. I appreciate the value they place on family portraits.
I get a lot of questions about my birth photography. First of all I just love it. There is nothing like being in the room when a new baby enters the world. I love telling the story of that day through my images. I photograph births in all settings- home births, hospital births, birth centers and c-sections. I have many images on this blog for you to peek at and I also have more images on my Facebook page- Erin Miller Photography.
I take two births a month right now and I book up fast so if you are interested feel free to email me at email@example.com with any other questions.
“Whatever way birth happens, it is your rite of passage into motherhood, and that passage is to be celebrated. Natural childbirth is a passage, cesarean birth is a passage, and birth with an epidural is a passage to be celebrated. That passage cannot be taken away from you. Every mother’s birth experience is valid, and an act of courage.”
I was very lucky to book this sweet couple to document the birth of their first child. It was a scheduled c-section and the ob-gyn just happened to be my ob-gyn! He let me get scrubbed in and I was allowed back there for the entire delivery! It was so amazing. I’ll let the photos tell this story.
The second I met this family we just clicked. I was so happy to be there with them as they welcomed their new baby boy into the world. I just love the family shots we got the next day at the hospital too. I’ll let my pictures do the talking…
Here is a recent newborn session with one of my favorite families and their new baby girl. I always enjoy our sessions together- they are the sweetest family. Here are a few of my favorite images from our morning.
I am getting a few things ready for my newborn session tomorrow which reminded me I never blog this little guys session. I loved so many images from our time together I am excited to share some.
I get asked a lot if I photograph newborns- the answer is YES! I would call myself a lifestyle newborn photographer. I like to capture you and your new baby in your home as a family. Maybe these pictures will help better describe my style!
Ahhh… I just loved this session. We moved it a little earlier in the day to avoid the predicted rain and we had some beautiful sun. I can’t wait to meet this little girl this weekend and photograph this family again. Enjoy!
